Yurt Wall workshop

We will harvest the wall materials prep and assemble.

The foraging portion of this workshop will take place in grindrod along the abandoned rail bed. We will be harvesting wall slats and rafters. Trees to be harvested will be chokecherry of 1 inch at the tip of the slat. The less taper the better. These will be as straight as possible. Tie in bundles of 20 to hold straight. Rafters are 1 1/4 at the tip

we will then prepare wall slats by cutting to length. Holes are drilled for knoting.
